Our nonprofit preschool aims
to provide a parent
cooperative program
designed to encourage the
social, emotional, physical,
and mental development of
young children. It is also
intended to be a resource of
support for participating families.
This class is for our Harbor Seal Students who will be attending kindergarten the following year.
3-Day Orcas- Monday/Wednesday/Friday
2-Day Orcas- Monday/Wednesday
11:30 am to 1:30 pm
Orcas start class right after the Harbor Seals class time. Orca Students will meet in the lunch room and enjoy their packed lunch (you are responsible for providing your student with a packed lunch).
Students will then head back into the classroom for more learning taking on a more traditional educational approach help our kiddos prepare for kindergarten the next year.
Lunch - 11:30 am to 12:00 pm
Learning- 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm
3- Day Seals-Monday/Wednesday/Frida
2-Day Seals- Monday/Wednesday
9:30 am to 11:30 am
The Harbor Seals class play-based curriculum will include a variety of age-appropriate learning opportunities for your child. Classroom activities will incorporate music, art, science, early literacy, language, dramatic play, fine and gross motor movement, and social emotional skill-building. Outdoor experiences and frequent local field trips will also be included.
Tuesday's and/or Thursday's 9:30 am to 11:30 am
The Otter's day will include Circle time, active Play and arts and crafts centered around a theme each class day.
The Sky Valley Cooperative preschool admits students of any race, color, gender, religion, national and ethnic origin, age, handicap or sexual orientation and does not discriminate in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, or other school administered programs.
